This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +1 more state.
• Develop and expand the Beehive Microgrid™ business line.
• Discover and establish a sustainable growth model along with supplementary revenue sources.
• Take ownership of overall Beehive revenue with accountability similar to P&L management.
• Incorporate mobile batteries into Commercial & Industrial projects.
• Market the Beehive Microgrid model to developers.
• Offer Bees for rental at events.
• Oversee the complete development of regional Beehive Microgrid fleets, from concept and scoping to procurement, construction, and readiness for deployment.
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, and delivery across various regions.
• Collaborate with regional program teams on siting, site assessment, and readiness for deployment.
• Create and execute RFPs for equipment, vendors, and EPC/build partners.
• Oversee procurement of Hive and Bee assets along with associated equipment; assess bids and provide sourcing recommendations.
• Coordinate with funders on grant procurement needs, including compliance with Buy America, prevailing wage, and relevant procurement standards.
• Supervise vendors, suppliers, and EPC/build partners concerning scope, timeline, quality, and cost.
• Assist the CEO in fostering relationships with sponsors and partners while contributing development insights and project scoping.
• Identify and establish new and expanding regions.
• Create repeatable playbooks, templates, and processes for launching fleets in new territories.
• Collaborate with the CEO, HQ Technology Team, and regional program teams to transform strategy into deployed, revenue-generating fleets.
• Direct experience in solar and clean-energy project development, including executing RFPs, managing procurement, and overseeing vendors and EPCs.
• Proven success in generating revenue by selling, renting, or monetizing energy assets, products, or services.
• Demonstrated capability to manage intricate, multi-stakeholder projects from beginning to end, within budget and timelines.
• Experience in creating standardized, repeatable processes across various projects or locations.
• Ability to work autonomously as a contractor, establishing methods and schedules to achieve specified outcomes.
• Preference for candidates with experience in mobile, modular, or distributed energy assets.
• Preferred experience in selling to Commercial & Industrial (C&I) markets or to project developers.
• Familiarity with grant-funded procurement environments and requirements is a plus.
• Experience in disaster response, resilience, or mission-driven/nonprofit environments is preferred.
• No specific certifications or credentials, such as PMP, NABCEP, or PE, are required.
• Submission of a cover letter and resume is necessary for application.
• A willingness to learn is essential; candidates do not need to meet all requirements.
• Occasional travel to regions/sites with reimbursed pre-approved travel expenses.
• Flat monthly retainer.
