Senior Flutter Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and improve a Flutter (Dart) mobile application utilized daily by thousands of users.

• Play an active role in shaping the app’s architecture, focusing on scalability, modularity, and performance.

• Develop and refine essential features related to geolocation and maps, user check-ins, and payment integration.

• Connect the app with REST APIs while comprehending backend workflows.

• Maintain high standards of delivery quality and take responsibility for testing black-box behaviors.

• Engage in code reviews, technical decision-making, and product discussions.

• Oversee the app’s production health, including monitoring for crashes, performance, and stability.

• Assist in the deployment and publication process for Android and iOS applications through CI/CD.

• Work closely with Product and Design teams, linking technical choices to business impacts.

• Independently manage a temporary project for a Health client—a healthcare benefits platform providing access to over 29,000 gyms in more than 2,500 cities across Brazil and Mexico.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mid-Level Flutter Developer.

• Proficient in Dart and familiar with mobile development best practices.

• Significant experience with state management techniques, such as BLoC or equivalent solutions.

• Strong background in integrating REST APIs.

• Familiarity with automated testing in mobile development.

• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.

• Experience in publishing applications to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

• Background in agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• A strong sense of ownership regarding code quality and delivery.

• A product engineering mindset, focusing on understanding the broader context rather than just completing tasks.

• A curious approach to understanding different technology stacks and the overall system functionality.

• A proactive attitude towards identifying issues, suggesting solutions, and making an impact.

• Excellent communication skills, collaboration abilities, and technical maturity.

• Experience with Flutter Channels using Kotlin or Swift.

• Familiarity with mapping and geolocation services.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

• Previous experience working across mobile, backend, and integration projects.

• A genuine interest in the architecture and development of complex systems.
