Working Student - Cyber Risk & Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist the Digital Security team in the methodical identification, evaluation, and management of cyber risks.

• Comprehend requirements from various business units and identify security and compliance risks.

• Ensure that both new and existing IT solutions adhere to security standards (Secure-by-Design).

• Evaluate new applications concerning their security requirements.

• Guarantee the integration of security controls within solutions.

• Perform regular assessments of current applications and processes.

• Identify and evaluate IT and cyber risks.

• Maintain and refresh the risk register while monitoring remediation efforts.

• Conduct audits, including ISO 27001.

• Generate reports and documentation for both internal and external audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled student (m/f/d) in Computer Science/Information Systems, IT Security/Cyber Security, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a similar program.

• Preferably some preliminary experience in IT or information security.

• Enthusiasm for IT risk management and IT architecture; compliance (ISO 27001 / NIS2 / NIST CSF); and cybersecurity.

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Possess analytical thinking skills and a methodical approach to work.

• Keen interest in understanding the relationship between business and IT.

• Show initiative and a willingness to learn.

• Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset.

• Excellent German and good English language skills.
