Senior GRC Engineer, Bilingual Spanish-English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Panama.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of primary client relationship management for high-complexity accounts.

• Establish executive relationships and provide clear milestone updates.

• Lead bilingual client interactions through phone, email, and video calls in both English and Spanish.

• Analyze, interpret, and implement technical security requirements consistent with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST CSF.

• Direct and nurture analyst pods through effective operational leadership, feedback, and mentorship.

• Create and maintain enterprise security policies, standard operating procedures, and audit evidence artifacts.

• Handle complex account escalations and resolve challenging client issues.

• Collaborate with both internal and client technical teams on risk and gap remediation efforts.

• Enhance internal playbooks, procedures, and delivery frameworks.

• Take active ownership of accounts and manage client engagements within the initial 15 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.

• Over 3 years of leadership experience in managing, mentoring, or guiding small teams of compliance analysts.

• Direct experience in executing cybersecurity compliance programs across SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF frameworks.

• Capability to manage multiple complex compliance projects at the same time.

• Proficiency in authoring, implementing, and enforcing corporate security policies within technology-focused or cybersecurity organizations.

• Experience in dynamic startup environments.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional home office environment conducive to confidential discussions and seamless collaboration.

• Commitment to working from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Eastern Time.

• Willingness and ability to travel locally for occasional onsite meetings, team gatherings, or business-related activities.

• Participation in live video interviews with the camera on and identity verification during the recruitment and onboarding processes.

• Successful completion of identity verification and background screening, where legally permitted.

• Experience with Big 4 or top-tier consulting firms, exposure to HIPAA, PCI DSS, or complementary frameworks, proficiency in Vanta/Drata or similar tools, and certifications such as CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or Security+ are advantageous.
