Senior Consultant, Regulatory Audit and Internal Controls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the mapping and evaluation of corporate procedures

• Assess risks, controls, interdependencies, and potential impacts on the business

• Implement and evaluate internal control testing

• Discover opportunities for enhancing evaluated processes

• Suggest mitigating controls for recognized risks

• Compile intricate audit reports in both Portuguese and English

• Effectively communicate the causes, impacts, and evidence surrounding findings

• Formulate actionable recommendations that align with the business context

• Work collaboratively with business, controls, risk, compliance, and audit teams

• Ensure the analytical quality of assessments and project documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum of five years of experience in internal audit, internal controls, risk management, or similar fields

• Demonstrated experience in regulatory environments within brokerage firms or insurance companies

• Understanding of internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance principles

• Familiarity with rules and regulations applicable to financial institutions and insurance companies, including those set forth by Bacen/BCB, Susep, and other regulatory authorities

• Experience in executing and reviewing control testing

• Proficient in preparing complex technical reports

• Advanced proficiency in English, including report writing and professional communication

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and independent working abilities

• Preferred: professional experience with a Big Four firm

• Preferred: involvement in regulatory audit projects

• Preferred: experience in presenting findings and recommendations to management and executives
