Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist in the preparation and submission of regular regulatory reports and notifications to the appropriate regulators and authorities.

• Gather, assess, and verify the data necessary for regulatory reporting.

• Help ensure that regulatory reports are accurate, thorough, and submitted by the required deadlines.

• Conduct checks and reconciliations to detect discrepancies or absent information.

• Aid in preparing responses to routine regulatory and licensing inquiries.

• Maintain updated internal compliance records, trackers, and registers.

• Compile and analyze necessary player data.

• Coordinate investigations related to betting integrity across relevant teams, which includes gathering and reviewing information and assisting with responses to regulatory inquiries.

• Keep an eye on industry news and changes to regulatory requirements, updating relevant records and processes accordingly.

• Provide support to the Regulatory Compliance team during audits, reviews, and other regulatory projects.

• Collaborate effectively with teams throughout the organization.

• Execute general administrative and analytical tasks to facilitate the smooth operation of the Compliance function.

• Perform additional compliance-related responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in a compliance-oriented role within the regulated gambling sector is advantageous.

• Exceptional attention to detail and precision.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective organizational and time-management skills.

• Capability to work with numerical and data-driven information.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to operate independently while being a cooperative team member.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.

• Eagerness to learn and expand knowledge of regulatory requirements.

• Previous experience in regulatory reporting or within a regulated environment is a plus.

• General understanding of the online gambling industry is beneficial.

• Experience with a sportsbook is an advantage.
