This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Capture and document unstructured oncological patient information from clinical hospital and physician practice systems using a proprietary software platform, which includes the acquisition, storage, and validation of clinical diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up data.
• Leverage oncology expertise and continuously enhance it to ensure thorough and precise documentation across clinical projects.
• Offer direct feedback regarding new features, tools, and workflows to aid in the development and quality assurance of software solutions.
• Assist in the creation of written standard operating procedures to guarantee accurate and consistent documentation.
• Assess strategies for documenting new data elements.
• Enrollment in a medical faculty in Germany.
• Completion of the pre-clinical component of medical studies.
• Strong passion for cancer and oncological patient information.
• Previous oncology-related experience, such as through clinical traineeships (Famulaturen), internships, or other clinical roles.
• Basic familiarity with histology, classification systems (TNM, etc.), and oncology treatments is preferred.
• Prior experience with tumor documentation systems (TDS), databases, and cancer registry software is highly desirable.
• Fundamental IT skills, preferably on Mac OS, and a willingness to learn new software solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, dependability, attention to detail, ability to work within teams, initiative, and capability to work independently.
• Proficiency in German at a native level and good command of English.
• 100% remote work from home in Germany.

• Flexible workload of up to 20 or 25 hours per week to accommodate individual study commitments.
