📋 Description

• Create intricate single-turn prompts focused on radiological safety, categorized as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.

• Assess model responses based on a specified policy standard.

• Evaluate whether the responses effectively addressed technical inquiries.

• Develop reference answers that outline correct responses along with the technical reasoning behind them.

• Differentiate between routine professional inquiries and those that may indicate potential misuse.

• Provide written justifications for evaluations that are accessible to non-specialists.

• Engage in reading and writing about misuse scenarios over extended periods.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a radiation safety license and have served as the designated individual for acquisition, inventory, transfer, and disposal.

• Relevant experience includes being named RSO on a broad-scope license; RSO or deputy RSO at a university, hospital, or research institute; industrial or irradiator RSO; licensing and compliance specialist; or radiation protection manager.

• Experience in program management, source inventory, regulatory compliance, Category 1 and 2 sealed sources, radiography, gauging, sterilization, regulatory submissions, amendments, inspections, ALARA principles, audits, training, and incident reporting may be applicable.

• Strong writing skills are essential; each judgment must be accompanied by a written rationale that is understandable to a non-specialist audience.

• Previous experience in technical writing, published research, or as an expert witness is highly regarded.

• Must refrain from using classified or export-controlled information, NDA-protected information, or information that is subject to prepublication review obligations.

• Any such obligations must be disclosed to appropriately scope the work.
