This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Establish and enhance the workforce intelligence capabilities at Banner Health.
• Examine workforce trends, internal workforce data, external labor market insights, and industry developments to pinpoint strategic risks and opportunities.
• Create methodologies for workforce forecasting and scenario planning.
• Lead analyses of workforce supply and demand across essential roles, functions, service lines, and geographic regions.
• Identify risks associated with turnover, retirement exposure, talent shortages, succession readiness, and future skill demands.
• Utilize enterprise skills data, career architecture, and talent insights for workforce forecasting and capability evaluations.
• Support the strategic workforce planning framework at Banner.
• Translate enterprise strategies, growth initiatives, and business priorities into workforce implications and capability needs.
• Propose strategies for building, buying, borrowing, or automating workforce solutions.
• Facilitate workforce planning discussions with business leaders and HR stakeholders.
• Conduct talent gap assessments and evaluate workforce readiness.
• Formulate workforce-related inquiries and design analytical methods to address them.
• Analyze workforce investments and quantify the return on investment for personnel.
• Develop executive-level workforce insights, presentations, scorecards, and recommendations.
• Act as a workforce intelligence consultant and thought partner for senior leadership.
• Evaluate and leverage workforce planning and business intelligence technologies, including Workday, Power BI, SQL, and Tableau.
• Collaborate with HR Technology, Talent Management, Finance, Strategy, Service Lines, and HR leaders.
• Support workforce governance and strategic planning initiatives.
• Build relationships with external workforce and education partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Data Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in workforce planning, workforce analytics, people analytics, HR strategy, management consulting, business intelligence, organizational effectiveness, or related areas.
• Proven ability to analyze complex organizational or workforce data and translate those findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience in presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated capacity to influence decisions across various stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities amidst changing needs and deadlines.
• A Master's degree in Business Administration, Analytics, Economics, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Public Health, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with strategic workforce planning methodologies is preferred.
• Experience with large-scale workforce datasets and business intelligence tools such as Workday, Power BI, or SQL is preferred.
• Additional related education and/or experience is preferred.
• Full-time, salaried position.
