This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead cross-functional teams in accordance with Cherokee Federal’s mission and policies.

• Oversee a varied portfolio of contracts to achieve cost, schedule, quality, and innovation objectives.

• Identify and seek out business development opportunities.

• Provide leadership updates regarding pipeline health, contract status, and recapture strategies.

• Offer strategic and tactical project guidance.

• Assist in proposal development, including inputs and reviews of past performance.

• Maintain customer engagement through site visits, relationship management, and performance reporting.

• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement and respond to CPARS.

• Lead the planning for corrective actions.

• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for contracts.

• Manage subcontractors, including selection, negotiation, performance metrics, and compliance oversight.

• Address staffing needs and support talent development.

• Collaborate with various departments and subject matter experts for effective execution and resource efficiency.

• Adjust plans according to evolving market conditions and client requirements.

• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal government contracts; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be accepted.

• Experience in managing multiple contracts or projects at the same time.

• Background in business development, client engagement, and contract recapture.

• Familiarity with federal acquisition, contract compliance, and performance standards.

• Financial management skills, including budgeting, invoicing, and variance analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with Deltek Costpoint or comparable ERP systems.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

• Must pass pre-employment qualifications set by Cherokee Federal.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer; occasional standing or movement around the office.

• PMP certification is preferred.
