C&I Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee all stages of client programs from initiation to completion

• Manage energy efficiency and decarbonization initiatives focused on gas for top gas utilities

• Navigate the complexities of utility portfolios and ensure adherence to regulatory standards

• Guarantee smooth program execution and outstanding client satisfaction

• Handle multiple contracts and budgets ranging from $2M to $3M annually

• Negotiate, execute, and manage contracts

• Lead, mentor, and develop program personnel while directing cross-functional teams

• Coordinate resources across engineering, marketing, and software divisions

• Monitor program performance, report outcomes, and uphold high customer service standards

• Review technical documentation and compile data for invoicing and reporting purposes

• Identify and escalate issues within programs while recommending process enhancements

• Conduct site visits for clients primarily in Naperville, Illinois, and throughout the Nicor service area

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in program management

• Minimum of 2 years in a people management role

• Experience in Program Management within the Energy Efficiency sector is advantageous

• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and cultivate strong client relationships

• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with a positive demeanor

• Proficient in analyzing historical data to formulate strategic plans and contingency options

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Experience with Salesforce/CRM is beneficial

• Must meet all DOT qualification requirements and adhere to applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, if relevant

• Authorization to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship is required
