Workforce Analytics Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee the Workforce Analytics department.

• Facilitate workforce planning and provide future-focused insights that support strategic workforce choices.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify priorities, workforce challenges, and future talent requirements.

• Define and prioritize workforce inquiries while delivering actionable insights.

• Create analytical frameworks and tools that link business strategy with people strategy.

• Combine workforce, financial, operational, and market data.

• Assess workforce and organizational trends to enhance organizational effectiveness, capacity, and capability.

• Present executive-ready insights through recommendations, visualizations, and data storytelling.

• Set workforce planning priorities, methodologies, standards, and operational rhythms.

• Lead partnerships with senior business and HR leaders to validate findings and shape recommendations.

• Develop workforce planning frameworks that evaluate role requirements, capacity, capabilities, talent risks, and internal pipelines.

• Coordinate actions among HR Business Partners, Compensation, Talent Management, Talent Development, and Talent Acquisition.

• Monitor workforce planning decisions, actions, outcomes, and their impacts.

• Enhance predictive insights and decision-support tools.

• Establish repeatable analytics methodologies, standards, and best practices.

• Assess and implement emerging technologies to boost analytical efficiency and workforce insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Over 7 years of progressively responsible experience in workforce analytics, people analytics, business analytics, finance, workforce planning, or a related analytical field.

• At least 3 years of experience in leading teams, complex projects, or strategic initiatives.

• Advanced skills in Power BI and Excel.

• Experience utilizing analytics to address business or workforce challenges and convert data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Knowledge of workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, workforce supply and demand, scenario planning, and talent trends.

• Business and financial insight applied to workforce inquiries concerning cost, capacity, productivity, organizational capability, investment, and future talent requirements.

• Familiarity with applying workforce analytics, forecasting, trend analysis, scenario modeling, and workforce metrics.

• Ability to identify leading indicators and foresee workforce risks, opportunities, and future needs.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Capability to integrate various sources of workforce and business data.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills.

• Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and influencing capabilities.

• Ability to influence without direct authority and establish trusted partnerships within a matrixed organization.

• Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives, enhancing organizational capabilities, and driving continuous improvement.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent.

• Ability to exercise sound judgment when dealing with sensitive employee and workforce information.

• Experience with workforce analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, data visualization technologies, and statistical analysis.

• Practical knowledge of HR information systems and workforce data structures.

• Familiarity with emerging technologies that could enhance workforce insights and analytical efficiency.

• Experience with Workday, including Workday reporting and analytics knowledge, as well as developing analytical frameworks or tools, is preferred but not mandatory.
