Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saint Lucia.

📋 Description

• Gather, analyze, interpret, and present business data.

• Offer actionable insights that facilitate informed decision-making and enhance business performance across the GEL Services Division.

• Assist retail businesses and shared service functions by analyzing operational, financial, customer, workforce, and other business data.

• Recognize trends, opportunities, risks, and areas that require improvement.

• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, and other analytical tools.

• Collaborate with business leaders and functional teams to convert data into actionable recommendations.

• Enhance performance, efficiency, profitability, customer experience, and service delivery.

• Report directly to the Divisional General Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a comparable analytical role.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and visualization techniques.

• Experience in developing management reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with multiple data sources and large datasets.

• Advanced skills in data analysis and interpretation.

• Proficiency in business intelligence and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.

• Competence in data cleaning, preparation, and management.

• Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools.

• Experience with ERP, POS, HRIS, CRM, financial, retail, and/or operational systems.

• Ability to measure KPIs and performance.

• Skills in report automation and process improvement.

• Strong business and financial understanding.

• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and reliability.
