Women's Health Nurse Practitioner – Menopause

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive telehealth consultations for patients experiencing perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms.

• Evaluate symptoms such as vasomotor instability, genitourinary syndrome, mood fluctuations, and disturbances in sleep.

• Create and execute tailored, evidence-informed menopause care plans that encompass hormone therapy, non-hormonal alternatives, supplementation, lifestyle modifications, and wellness strategies.

• Prescribe and oversee hormone therapies, including estrogen, progesterone, and alternatives to HRT, adhering to current clinical guidelines.

• Order, analyze, and monitor laboratory tests, including hormone panels, lipid profiles, and bone density scans.

• Offer education and counseling on managing symptoms, preventing diseases, maintaining sexual health, and addressing quality-of-life concerns.

• Collaborate with gynecologists, primary care physicians, endocrinologists, and other specialists for intricate cases.

• Keep precise records and utilize telemedicine platforms for documentation, scheduling, and patient communication.

• Engage in patient outreach initiatives, including follow-up communications, secure messaging, resource referrals, and digital health integration.

• Serve as a menopause resource within a multidisciplinary team offering telehealth services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) with completion of an accredited WHNP program.

• Valid WHNP or FNP license.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in VA, DC, MD, IL, and MO.

• Active DEA registration.

• At least 3 years of experience in women's health, specifically in menopause or gynecology.

• MSCP (Menopause Society Certified Practitioner) Certification is preferred.

• Demonstrated telehealth experience or interest, with strong skills in virtual clinical settings.

• Certification in Women’s Health from AANP or NCC (WHNP‑BC or equivalent).

• BLS certification (or willingness to acquire it).

• Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and digital proficiency.

• Dedication to team-oriented, patient-centered, and technology-driven care.

• Background investigation required for candidates selected for further consideration.
