Service Excellence Lead HVAC Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Ensure the ongoing efficient operation of Budderfly HVAC units in the designated region.

• Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.

• Identify potential maintenance risks associated with HVAC/R equipment.

• Diagnose both electrical and mechanical issues.

• Conduct commissioning checks and adjust HVAC RTU controller configurations as necessary.

• Execute physical maintenance tasks, such as changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and checking units for mechanical failures.

• Clean, adjust, and repair systems while also carrying out warranty services.

• Respond to emergency repairs promptly and effectively.

• Maintain daily logs and records using the company work order system.

• Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

• Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customer expectations.

• Assist with customer inquiries.

• On-call duties are not required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems.

• EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.

• An HVAC Contractor H2 License is advantageous.

• Experience with HVAC Controls is preferred.

• Familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is beneficial.

• Ability to identify control and mechanical issues before they escalate.

• Willingness to travel within Raleigh, NC and nearby areas.

• Flexibility to work on weekends as needed.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to collaborate effectively across various organizational teams.
