This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and implement the enterprise server patching initiative utilizing NinjaOne RMM.

• Establish patch schedules, approval processes, and maintenance periods for production, staging, and development environments.

• Monitor patch compliance, produce status reports, and escalate any exceptions as needed.

• Manage NinjaOne RMM monitoring policies, alerts, remote access workflows, dashboards, and automation scripts.

• Oversee Windows Server environments spanning versions 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025.

• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, file services, print services, server roles, and configurations.

• Construct, configure, manage, and sustain VMware vSphere virtual machines, templates, snapshots, and resource allocations.

• Conduct P2V and V2V migrations and optimize virtual machines.

• Plan and implement server OS upgrades, refresh cycles, workload migrations, and comprehensive server lifecycle management.

• Maintain the CMDB and asset records for servers and virtual machines.

• Monitor server health, performance, capacity, and availability metrics.

• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, storage risks, and infrastructure anomalies.

• Develop and sustain PowerShell automation for patching, health checks, provisioning, compliance reporting, and alert notifications.

• Apply DevOps methodologies, including version-controlled repositories, automated testing, and reproducible deployment procedures.

• Ensure server enrollment and compliance with SentinelOne EDR and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

• Address endpoint alerts and mitigate vulnerabilities.

• Resolve server incidents, including P1/P2 production outages, and conduct root cause analyses and post-incident reviews.

• Create and maintain comprehensive server documentation, runbooks, SOPs, patch baselines, VM inventories, and change records.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or a suitable combination of hands-on experience and technical certifications.

• 3–5+ years of practical experience in server administration or IT infrastructure operations.

• Proven hands-on experience with NinjaOne RMM, including patch deployment, monitoring policy setup, alert management, remote access, and automation scripting.

• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, encompassing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, file services, and server role management.

• Practical experience with VMware vSphere, including VM templates, snapshots, cloning, and resource allocation.

• Experience in planning and executing server OS upgrades and hardware refresh cycles.

• Strong PowerShell scripting capabilities for patching, reporting, provisioning, health checks, and task automation.

• Familiarity with enterprise backup solutions and restore validation processes.

• Experience with server-level endpoint protection platforms like SentinelOne or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, focusing on enrollment, compliance monitoring, and alert response.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization issues.

• Strong commitment to documentation practices.

• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Must adhere to TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures, along with ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements.

• Access to ITAR products and associated technical data is limited to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents.

• Preferred experience includes Git, configuration management, CI/CD, colocation/data center environments, hybrid identity, ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms, and manufacturing or global enterprise IT settings.

• Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, VMware VCP-DCV, CompTIA Server+, NinjaOne Certified Administrator, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, or Network+.
