Web Designer – 6-month contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create and develop pages, campaign landing pages, and new sections of stravito.com from concept to launch.

• Convert positioning and campaign briefs into impactful pages.

• Construct reusable modules for campaign and landing pages to enable the marketing team to operate independently.

• Enhance pages for optimal conversion rates.

• Operate within the HubSpot theme, including templates, modules, local build setup, and maintainability.

• Write clean, hand-coded HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when necessary, beyond existing tools.

• Ensure site speed, accessibility, and consistency are maintained.

• Document all work and deliver a maintainable site.

• Collaborate effectively with the marketing team, Creative Director, Visual Designer, and engineers.

• Independently make decisions regarding website visuals and implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in designing visual interfaces and coding the same sites that have gone live.

• Strong judgment in visual design and typography.

• Proficient in HTML and CSS, including modern layout techniques.

• Comfortable using JavaScript for developing designed interactions.

• Familiar with React, or capable of becoming productive in a React codebase within a few weeks.

• Dependable, able to self-manage, and keep stakeholders informed without needing reminders.

• Capable of working from another person's brief.

• Able to quickly build landing pages using reusable modules and suitable one-off solutions.

• Experience incorporating AI into work processes.

• Familiarity with HubSpot and HubL is advantageous, though not essential.

• Experience in motion and interaction design, whether in code or using After Effects, is a plus.

• Background in marketing websites for B2B software is a plus.

• A personal website developed and maintained by the candidate is an asset.

• Must provide two or three live sites and specify which aspects were personally designed and coded.
