Freelance Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop high-quality web designs tailored for practical applications within the Tendem project.

• Create effective one-page websites, pitch-style landing pages, and straightforward marketing sites based on provided copy, outlines, or drafts.

• Convert brand assets and social media graphics into responsive web layouts and structured components suitable for developer or no-code implementation.

• Organize Figma frames, export necessary assets, and document specifications for seamless production handoff.

• Ensure visual consistency across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and social media materials.

• Confirm responsiveness, spacing, clarity, and compliance with contemporary web design trends prior to delivery.

• Take ownership of the aesthetic and functional aspects of web-based materials, aligning them with the overall brand ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.

• A robust portfolio focused significantly on landing pages, marketing websites, and one-pagers for products or startups.

• Experience in transforming rough prompts, AI-generated drafts, or established brand systems into structured, ready-to-implement web designs.

• A user-centric, conversion-focused mindset.

• Capability to work independently.

• Advanced skills in Figma for creating scalable, responsive web layouts, auto-layout components, and comprehensive design systems.

• Proficiency in designing high-converting, pitch-style landing pages.

• Knowledge of preparing, specifying, and packaging digital assets for developer or no-code implementation, including tools like Webflow and Framer.

• Ability to uphold brand consistency across web pages, social materials, and pitch presentations.

• A keen eye for clarity, white space, and trends in modern web layouts.

• A self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot independently.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher is essential.

• CV must include a link to a portfolio showcasing web design examples; applications lacking a portfolio link or relevant web design cases will not be considered.

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, HCI, or related fields is an advantage.
