Freelance Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop exceptional web designs tailored for practical applications within the Tendem project.

• Create high-converting one-page websites, pitch-oriented landing pages, and straightforward marketing sites based on textual content, outlines, or existing drafts.

• Adapt brand assets and social media graphics into responsive web designs, structured components, and sections ready for developers or no-code solutions.

• Prepare and securely package production-ready files, which includes organizing Figma frames, exporting assets, and detailing specifications.

• Maintain visual consistency across interactive web pages, static PDFs, and promotional materials.

• Ensure responsiveness, proper spacing, clarity, and compliance with contemporary web standards prior to delivery.

• Take ownership of the aesthetic aspects of web materials, ensuring alignment with the overall brand ecosystem.

• Collaborate with briefs, rough prompts, AI-generated drafts, and existing brand frameworks to produce structured, implementation-ready designs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in web design, UI design, digital marketing design, or visual communications is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related creative/technical disciplines is advantageous.

• A strong portfolio emphasizing landing pages, marketing websites, and product or startup one-pagers is essential.

• Experience in working from rough prompts, AI-generated drafts, or established brand systems is required.

• A user-centric, conversion-focused approach to design is necessary.

• Capability to work independently is crucial.

• High proficiency in Figma for creating scalable, responsive web layouts, auto-layout components, and comprehensive design systems is expected.

• Expertise in developing high-converting, pitch-style landing pages is important.

• Knowledge of preparing, specifying, and packaging digital assets for implementation via developers or no-code platforms such as Webflow and Framer is essential.

• Ability to translate brand aesthetics across web pages, social materials, and pitch decks is required.

• A keen eye for clarity, white space, spacing, and modern web layout trends is necessary.

• A self-directed work ethic with the ability to troubleshoot independently is vital.

• Capacity to deliver production-ready assets promptly is necessary.

• Proficiency in English at an Upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher is mandatory.

• CV must include a portfolio link featuring web design examples; applications lacking a portfolio link or relevant web design samples will not be reviewed.
