Magento Web Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily management and updates of the Magento website.

• Upload and maintain product listings, descriptions, and visual assets.

• Ensure website content remains accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business objectives.

• Enhance website layout, navigation flow, and overall user experience.

• Optimize product and landing pages for higher conversion rates.

• Identify and implement design improvements to enhance usability and performance.

• Create and edit visual content, including banners and product visuals.

• Ensure visual consistency adheres to existing brand guidelines.

• Collaborate with internal teams to bring design ideas to fruition.

• Operate directly within the existing Magento (Adobe Commerce) backend.

• Execute website changes and updates that require Magento development expertise.

• Troubleshoot any technical issues impacting website updates, product management, or functionality.

• Perform light front-end modifications independently.

• Utilize AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency when applicable.

• Identify opportunities for improving website performance and the user journey.

• Support initiatives aimed at optimizing conversion rates.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience with Magento (Adobe Commerce) — required.

• Strong practical experience in Magento development — required.

• Proven experience working independently within an existing Magento backend environment — required.

• Experience in managing and updating e-commerce websites continuously.

• Background in UX/UI design tailored for e-commerce.

• Comprehensive understanding of Magento and its backend structure.

• Capability to troubleshoot and implement changes to the Magento website autonomously.

• Strong grasp of e-commerce best practices.

• Proficient in design tools like Photoshop, Figma, or similar.

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or similar is an advantage.

• Keen eye for design and usability with meticulous attention to detail.

• Proactive mindset and ability to work independently.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to iterate rapidly.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Availability to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
