Web, Backend & Infrastructure Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create APIs and monolithic applications featuring web interfaces, primarily utilizing Ruby on Rails.

• Design and manage systems and infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and Cloudflare.

• Develop fast and engaging web experiences with React, Astro, and Tailwind.

• Prioritize SEO, performance, and accessibility from the beginning of projects.

• Implement Content Management System (CMS) solutions using Payload or custom-built options as necessary.

• Construct and oversee n8n automations.

• Integrate APIs for internal tools including Asana, Grafana, and Google APIs.

• Produce clean code accompanied by meaningful tests.

• Integrate DevSecOps as a fundamental aspect of development.

• Collaborate across diverse stacks and projects in fields like sports, health, green tech, and telecommunications.

• Assume ownership, think proactively, and contribute to shaping our work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Experience with Node.js and/or PHP is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Cloudflare, or similar cloud and container technologies.

• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with React, Astro, and Tailwind.

• Understanding of SEO, performance, and accessibility principles.

• Knowledge of CMS solutions; experience with Payload or custom-built systems is a bonus.

• Willingness to take initiative and ownership.

• Ability to identify issues early on.

• Eagerness to share insights and knowledge with the team.

• Interest in working with evolving stacks and projects.

• Purposeful application of AI tools, particularly Claude.

• Interest in AI coding, agents, and automation.

• Submission of application documents, including a CV and Git repository.
