Web Application Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct and analyze automated web application scans utilizing Tenable Web App Scanning and Burp Suite Professional/Enterprise DAST.

• Collaborate with development teams to coordinate remediation efforts and ensure timely tracking of fixes until resolution.

• Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of the vulnerability management program, which includes scheduling scans, generating reports, and analyzing metrics.

• Leverage cybersecurity engineering expertise to safeguard the organization's computing infrastructure and platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a comparable field of experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in Web Application Security.

• Proficiency in understanding and articulating technical concepts effectively.

• Strong communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Capability to manage multiple tasks independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Familiarity with Tenable Web App Scanning.

• Experience using Burp Suite DAST.

• Knowledge of common protocols such as HTTP, TLS, DNS, and SSH.

• Background in vulnerability management.

• Experience with PKI and certificate management.
