Business Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Manage user accounts according to the Access Policy

• Prepare and specify change requests for intricate features and implementations

• Comprehend and apply best practices

• Refer issues to systems vendor support as necessary

• Aid in system development and testing processes

• Deliver prompt technical assistance for business-system challenges

• Become proficient in business systems and offer “how do I…” guidance to users

• Oversee testing and validation of new releases prior to their deployment in production

• Manage system environments

• Conduct system validation in accordance with federal standards

• Enhance and support ERP, HRIS, and expense-management systems

• Implement configuration changes while complying with change-control protocols

• Collaborate with stakeholders to foster business process and user experience enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required

• Solid understanding of ERP systems and governance, including policies, procedures, and change management

• Experience in Process Manufacturing

• Practical experience administering ERP and commercial systems, preferably IFS and/or UKG

• Familiarity with technical aspects of IFS and/or UKG

• Knowledgeable in ERP, HRIS, and Expense systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power BI

• Experienced with ERP systems, commercial systems, HR systems, MS Power Automate, MS Power BI, and Excel

• Ability to write SQL queries

• Experience in vendor management

• Understanding of accounting processes, including Order to Cash and Procure to Pay

• Computer literacy

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
