Application Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist customers in determining technical specifications and the necessary documentation.

• Create engineering drawings, production specifications, schedules, and amendments to contracts.

• Develop application notes that detail product usage in customer applications.

• Formulate test applications for modules, including tailored components.

• Execute intricate trials for product positioning, optimizing applications, and resolving customer issues.

• Implement special product deployments to secure revenue streams.

• Conduct, assess, and analyze practical product trials.

• Address technical inquiries and complaints from customers regarding product applications and cleaning methods.

• Optimize equipment and its components and provide training to operating personnel.

• Deliver consistent service to major clients and nurture customer relationships.

• Carry out microbiological sampling.

• Take customer profitability into account through the optimization of technical processes.

• Participate in projects that align products with applications.

• Execute process trials for product modifications at manufacturing locations.

• Compile reports and operational instructions for clients.

• Perform performance comparisons with rival products in practical trials.

• Provide training sessions for system consultants and clients.

• Education in brewing, beverage, food, or dairy processing, or a comparable qualification.

• Knowledge of chemical and technical aspects.

• A solid understanding of hygiene principles.

• Preferred experience in application engineering.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the food industry.

• Residing within the designated area of responsibility.

• Enjoyment of customer engagement and a confident demeanor when interacting with clients.

• Strong interpersonal abilities and dedication.

• Reliability and the ability to work independently.

• Capability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
