Application Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, test, modify, and assist in the deployment of assigned software applications and integrations.

• Implement established integration patterns, coding standards, security protocols, and architectural guidelines.

• Utilize approved AI development tools for coding, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Acquire a working understanding of back-office ERP, finance systems, and associated business processes.

• Review and clarify technical requirements in collaboration with business partners and senior technical team members.

• Create functional specifications, technical documentation, test plans, and implementation materials.

• Investigate and resolve moderately complex application and integration challenges.

• Escalate new, high-risk, or architecture-related issues to senior engineers or technical leadership.

• Adhere to change-control procedures and coordinate testing and implementation efforts with business and IT teams.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, user instructions, and training materials.

• Organize assigned tasks across multiple projects while communicating progress, risks, and dependencies to project and technical leads.

• Complete special projects and other assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is required.

• Familiarity with AI development tools is essential.

• Experience in developing technical solutions across various technologies, such as Microsoft .NET and SQL Server.

• Experience with AWS Aurora databases is advantageous.

• Proficient in all aspects of the technical project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to design and deployment.

• Background in supporting financial applications (AP, AR, GL) is a plus.

• 2-4+ years of professional software development experience with SQL databases.

• Understanding of cloud-based design principles is important.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot complex technical challenges.

• High proficiency in managing multiple workstreams across various internal groups.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, effectively collaborating across both technical and non-technical teams.

• A positive, results-oriented mindset.

• Capability to comprehend complex business details inherent in technical solutions.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Proactive communication regarding the status of critical workstreams.

• Must provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and maintain an office setup.
