This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement the enterprise vendor management strategy for the organization.
• Create governance frameworks and an operational model for key suppliers and delegated entities.
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and streamline vendor relationships to enhance efficiency.
• Set vendor performance standards, accountability frameworks, scorecards, and dashboards.
• Supervise vendor operational, financial, compliance, service-level, and quality performance.
• Facilitate quarterly business reviews and performance accountability discussions.
• Manage vendor budgeting, forecasting, expense management, ROI assessments, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Legal and Procurement on strategic vendor contracts, negotiations, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Develop and manage enterprise vendor risk management programs, including oversight of business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Promote continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, corrective action plans, and performance recovery strategies.
• Cultivate executive-level relationships with key vendors and align partnerships with organizational growth and transformation.
• Create executive dashboards and deliver updates on vendor performance, risk, and financial matters to executive leadership and Board committees.
• Lead enterprise vendor governance councils and steering committees.
• Supervise assigned staff, including recruitment, training, workload distribution, performance evaluation, coaching, counseling, and performance management.
• Over 12 years of leadership experience in healthcare operations, vendor management, outsourcing, procurement, managed care, or similar fields.
• More than 7 years of senior leadership experience overseeing large vendor portfolios.
• Extensive expertise in Medicare Advantage, managed care, or health insurance operations.
• Proven ability to manage complex strategic vendor relationships effectively.
• Experience in overseeing vendor portfolios and budgets totaling millions of dollars.
• Strong background in contract negotiations and performance management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related area.
• Strategic thinker with a strong focus on execution discipline.
• Excellent leadership, influence, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical skills with comfort in interpreting both clinical and financial data.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to innovation, member-centric care, and ongoing improvement.
