Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee procurement operations for a new data center location.

• Assist with capital construction and infrastructure initiatives.

• Direct procurement efforts for mechanical, electrical, structural, and essential equipment packages.

• Conduct RFQs/RFPs, assess proposals, and aid in vendor selection processes.

• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.

• Monitor long-lead items to guarantee timely delivery.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Legal, and Finance teams.

• Manage daily supplier relationships.

• Facilitate supplier onboarding and performance evaluation.

• Support contract review and compliance efforts.

• Track vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Assist site operations with procurement and service agreements.

• Analyze spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Aid in budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Ensure precise purchase order and system management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 7 years of progressive procurement experience, including sourcing for capital projects in the construction or Data Center sector.

• Experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure, industrial, energy, or data center projects.

• Proven track record in leading complex negotiations and contract management.

• Experience in building or leading procurement teams.

• Strong understanding of commercial terms, contract structures, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

• Strong financial and commercial insight.

• Experience in data center, mission-critical, energy, or high-availability settings.

• Experience in supporting greenfield site developments or significant expansions.

• Knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and critical infrastructure supply markets.

• Willingness to travel 40%-50% of the time.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
