Procurement Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee contracts across all categories (IT and non-IT) on a global scale, focusing on key regions such as the UAE, India, Pakistan, and other smaller IBG countries as necessary.

• Support the effective utilization of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) within CPD.

• Ensure that all assigned contracts, including renewals and new agreements, are finalized punctually.

• Maintain consistent and transparent communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

• Enhance knowledge of the latest industry best practices.

• Provide monthly contributions for the compilation of departmental Management Information Systems (MIS).

• Uphold Mashreq's core values and adhere to the code of conduct.

• Play a significant role in the implementation of Oracle Fusion (Phase 2) by early 2027.

• Analyze data and prepare related reports accordingly.

• Identify, verify, and cultivate sources of supply.

• Conduct market research and stay informed about new product offerings.

• Procure supplies while ensuring quality and competitive pricing.

• Negotiate effectively with suppliers.

• Communicate proficiently with Group/Division and suppliers.

• Carry out related duties as assigned.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in vendor contract management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Proven experience in negotiating and resolving contract redlines.

• Solid understanding of Mashreq's legal requirements regarding vendor contracts.

• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Ability to foster strong customer satisfaction.
