This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a team consisting of seven to ten Retention Executives.
• Drive strategies for rebids, proactively extend contracts, gather competitive intelligence, and develop timely, accurate, and persuasive retention proposals.
• Support retention initiatives across Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Health and Welfare, Non-Qualified, Managed Accounts, and HSA/RA solutions.
• Enhance the sales, consulting, and relationship management skills of the Retention Executives.
• Cultivate subject matter experts in key products, industries, and retention areas.
• Collaborate with the Head of Workplace Investing Retention to establish and implement an overarching retention strategy.
• Oversee team capacity and manage resource allocation effectively.
• Initiate associate development programs to optimize retention outcomes.
• Act as a Supervisory Principal, responsible for supervision, compliance oversight, and regulatory adherence for registered representative direct reports.
• Set team objectives, performance metrics, and reporting systems.
• Manage deal assignments and supervise team capacity and workloads.
• Provide guidance on negotiation strategies for complex and strategic client engagements.
• Collaborate with Segment Heads, Team Leads, Managing Directors, and Retention Executives.
• Identify industry trends, competitive movements, and retention best practices.
• Promote a high-performing, engaged, and empowered team culture.
• Build relationships with internal and external talent sources to cultivate a future talent pipeline.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding customer communications, licensing, sales materials, and client-facing presentations.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Business Development and Retention within the benefits outsourcing, recordkeeping, and consulting sectors.
• Proven people management experience.
• Minimum of an undergraduate degree (bachelor’s degree).
• Experience in forming alliances and influencing key decision-makers at all levels.
• Strong competitive drive and determination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation abilities.
• Skills in developing people.
• Proven track record in delivering outsourced service solutions.
• Comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics, competitive trends, and financial drivers.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Series 7, 63, and 24 certifications required within 90 days of hire.
• Compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
