This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop a long-term vision for Smalls' digital products and the foundational platform, translating it into a comprehensive team roadmap.
• Determine investment priorities, establish build options, allocate team resources, and implement technology stack modifications.
• Link product decisions to the company's overarching vision and financial objectives.
• Oversee the customer-facing digital experience, including website interactions, purchase and checkout processes, account management, subscription experiences, and retention-focused product features.
• Direct UX, merchandising, and site flow decisions to align with the brand's identity.
• Manage product and experience metrics related to revenue, such as conversion rates, Average Order Value (AOV), Lifetime Value (LTV), and customer retention.
• Collaborate with Marketing on customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation initiatives.
• Establish the technical direction and cultivate a high-performing, agile engineering team.
• Make informed decisions on build-vs-buy and platform strategies while maintaining the technology stack.
• Attract, nurture, and inspire a cross-functional product and engineering team.
• Participate as a member of the leadership team and report directly to the SVP of Growth & Data.
• Align teams with strategy, roadmap justification, and desired business outcomes.
• 12+ years (or equivalent) of experience in product and technology leadership roles.
• Proven experience in setting strategic direction, leading teams, and enhancing key business metrics.
• Background in scaling consumer commerce through direct-to-consumer subscription models and traditional e-commerce.
• In-depth understanding of subscription-first business models, one-time purchases, and subscribe-and-save options.
• Strong familiarity with the modern direct-to-consumer technology stack, particularly Shopify.
• Technical proficiency to guide engineering direction and build trust with engineering teams.
• Experience operating at the intersection of product and marketing across growth, brand, and product initiatives.
• Outstanding leadership skills, including talent acquisition, resource management, and team development capabilities.
• Ability to articulate roadmap justifications clearly and engage in architectural discussions with engineers and executives.
• Customer-focused strategy driven by data analytics, testing, and research.
• Commercial mindset with accountability for achieving business results.
