This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Lead the teams of Product Owners and Project Managers.
• Oversee standards, tools, and operational rhythms for product and delivery functions.
• Mediate conflicts between product management and project management.
• Manage the integrated product roadmap and prioritize across competing domains.
• Ensure the quality of specifications and allocate ownership for both product and technical aspects.
• Supervise budgets, forecasts, plan tracking, variance reporting, vendor expenditures, contractor costs, and timing of SOWs.
• Oversee resource allocation across the portfolio and address any resource conflicts.
• Anticipate hiring and contractor requirements in alignment with the roadmap.
• Manage consolidated timelines for significant initiatives.
• Report on roadmap status, risks, and trade-offs to executive leadership.
• Maintain the portfolio-level RAID register and facilitate resolution at the executive level.
• Provide updates and early alerts on major commitments along with options.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule across product, project management, engineering, and QA teams.
• Manage cross-functional escalation pathways, accuracy of status, and commitment dates.
• Conduct post-mortems on unmet commitments and implement process improvements.
• Executive-level responsibility for Product Owner and Project Manager teams at a portfolio scale.
• Proven experience in managing and developing product and project management teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in owning product roadmaps, prioritization, and specification quality.
• Skilled in budget forecasting, variance reporting, managing vendor and contractor expenditures, SOW tracking, and handling renewals/terminations.
• Experience with organization-wide resource allocation and forecasting hiring and contractor needs.
• Proven track record of owning executive-level delivery timelines, roadmap status, risks, and trade-offs.
• Experience in maintaining a portfolio-level RAID register.
• Ability to drive cross-functional accountability across product, project management, engineering, and QA.
• Capability to make trade-offs concerning scope, schedule, resources, and budget.
