This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee daily operations related to project execution.
• Organize construction planning, scheduling, and team management to ensure projects remain on track, within budget, compliant, timely, and of high quality.
• Create and maintain project timelines and financial plans.
• Monitor specific tasks and process contractor-supplied invoices and purchase orders for approval.
• Develop schedules featuring key milestones, tasks, and risk management registers.
• Prepare and deliver weekly updates and reports to clients.
• Conduct take-offs and submit Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Formulate scopes of work based on contract documents, including inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure competitive pricing, prompt estimates, and high-quality work.
• Coordinate with vendors to assist in acquiring private easements.
• Review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for completeness in relation to project plans and specifications.
• Establish initial construction schedules and timelines.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records.
• Execute order closeout procedures, including delivering all items specified in the RFP or contract.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• General familiarity with various Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP) construction techniques.
• Capability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Basic understanding of building systems, construction materials, electrical, design and engineering principles, as well as data and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Earth.
• Knowledge of the Oracle Netsuite Project Management platform, or a comparable SaaS PMIS.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and/or Photoshop is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in print presentations.
• Ability to multitask, collaborate with diverse individuals, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
• A degree or certification in Project Management, relevant job-related training, and two years of experience in telecommunications (PMP, RCCD, or similar) is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry more than 20 pounds.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative setting.
• Availability from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the possibility of additional hours.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
