VP, People

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the People operations strategy while providing counsel to the executive team.

• Oversee a People team that includes an HR Manager, HR Generalist, Culture Ambassador/Office Manager, and offshore Recruiter.

• Manage the comprehensive recruiting and hiring strategy, workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, onboarding, and EOR management.

• Participate in the executive leadership team and ensure alignment of People initiatives with technology, revenue growth, and M&A activities.

• Provide guidance to leadership on both domestic and international labor laws as well as PE-backed performance metrics.

• Direct the People aspects of M&A integration, focusing on cultural assimilation, change management, and talent retention.

• Manage personnel expenses through effective workforce planning and monitoring of cost-per-employee metrics.

• Create and refine a global compensation and benefits philosophy using market benchmarking, including Radford.

• Lead HR operations, oversee HRIS management, and ensure global compliance infrastructure through tools such as Workday, 15Five, and GSuite.

• Integrate equitable and inclusive practices into all People initiatives.

• Balance talent acquisition needs with budget constraints, profitability, and cost-per-employee KPIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of progressive HR or People leadership experience, particularly in scaling distributed, high-growth organizations.

• Strong understanding of business principles.

• Extensive knowledge of labor laws.

• Outstanding conflict resolution skills.

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or Psychology.

• A Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred.

• Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR are preferred.
