This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers regarding performance management and employee relations, ensuring that decisions are equitable, principled, consistent, and based on sound judgment.
• Utilize people data and trends to inform decision-making and uncover organizational insights related to performance and attrition.
• Effectively manage competing priorities independently and actively seek information to advance work in a virtual-first environment.
• Implement product management and design-thinking principles to enhance the employee experience by identifying needs, prototyping solutions, prioritizing enhancements, and iterating based on data and feedback.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with HRBPs, Legal, and the wider People team on complex employee issues and improvements to the employee experience.
• Influence leaders, managers, and cross-functional partners to foster thoughtful decisions, adoption, and significant business and people outcomes.
• Provide clear and candid advice on challenging or sensitive issues while balancing employee empathy with organizational needs.
• Assist with talent density, performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations, leaves of absence/accommodations, employee experience, offboarding, people projects, and operational tasks.
• Analyze people data and metrics, including trends in attrition and performance management, to generate insights and recommendations for leadership.
• Over 8 years of experience in HR or Employee Relations, with at least 3 years directly assisting managers and employees with performance management.
• Proven judgment in handling intricate employee relations issues while balancing employee experience and business priorities.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of tailoring communication to various audiences and circumstances.
• Proven track record of managing sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
• Experience working effectively within internationally distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to approach employee experience as a product, applying product management and design thinking to comprehend needs, prototype solutions, and drive execution through robust project management and data-driven iteration.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools effectively within workflows.
• Previous experience conducting internal investigations into employee complaints is an advantage.
• Prior experience collaborating with managers and employees based in Poland is a plus.
• Familiarity with using AI to improve productivity is highly preferred.
