This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
⢠Ensure the integrity of HRIS data through audits, corrections, and the configuration of workflows/business rules in platforms such as Rippling or Workday.
⢠Act as the escalation point for issues related to HRIS and People & Culture systems, including HRIS-to-SSO provisioning.
⢠Collaborate with IT/Okta and vendors to identify and implement root-cause solutions.
⢠Assist in system upgrades and rollouts by conducting UAT, preparing documentation, and providing training.
⢠Create people analytics reports and automate processes to support data-driven decision-making for leadership.
⢠Lead cross-functional initiatives such as compensation/performance cycles, system implementations/migrations, and policy revisions.
⢠Enhance onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.
⢠Serve as a subject matter expert on policy and compliance, working with Legal to ensure adherence to employment laws.
⢠Manage global mobility and immigration cases.
⢠Assist with employee relations escalations alongside People & Culture Business Partners.
⢠Draft standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policy documentation.
⢠Mentor junior members of the People Operations team.
⢠A minimum of 5 years in HR/People Ops, HRIS administration, or related generalist roles.
⢠In-depth knowledge of Canadian employment law and payroll/tax compliance; US experience is advantageous.
⢠Practical experience with HRIS platforms, specifically Rippling, Workday, or similar systems.
⢠Strong analytical and communication abilities; comfortable communicating policy at all organizational levels.
⢠A mindset focused on process improvement and the ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
⢠Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
⢠Must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of hire.
⢠No requirement for employer sponsorship for a work visa, currently or in the future.
⢠Candidates must successfully complete a background check.
⢠CPHR/PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred, but not mandatory.
⢠Experience in benefits, leave, and compensation administration is a plus.
⢠Experience in global mobility/immigration programs is a plus.
⢠Background in a high-growth or global company is an advantage.
⢠Experience in a high-growth or scaling company environment is desirable.
⢠Experience in global company people operations is desirable.
⢠Familiarity with payroll processes and systems integration is a plus.
⢠Experience in creating or enhancing employee self-service resources is a plus.
⢠Experience managing global mobility and immigration programs is a plus.
