This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the senior People leader for Textile Exchange, providing strategic guidance to the CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Leadership Team, and other top executives.
• Formulate and implement a global People & Culture strategy that aligns with the organization's priorities and long-term goals.
• Offer executive and leadership coaching to enhance management skills, leadership effectiveness, team performance, and organizational culture.
• Prepare analyses, metrics, and reports related to workforce, talent, engagement, succession, and culture for discussions at the executive and Board levels.
• Oversee strategic workforce planning, organizational design, improvements to operating models, and organization-wide change management related to people.
• Develop and manage global talent acquisition strategies, employer branding, employee value propositions, and initiatives focused on diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Direct performance management, leadership development, succession planning, career growth, and internal mobility initiatives.
• Manage employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, employee relations, engagement surveys, action planning, and communications with employees.
• Guide the compensation philosophy and total rewards strategy; collaborate with Finance on budgeting and compensation forecasts.
• Enhance People systems, HR technology, workforce analytics, and reporting capabilities; supervise People operations, policies, and practices.
• Establish global governance for People & Culture, including compliance, risk management, policies, and procedures.
• Lead and nurture the People & Culture team, encompassing departmental goals, performance standards, budgets, and investments.
• A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or People & Culture leadership roles.
• Proven experience as the senior HR or People leader within an organization.
• Experience collaborating with executive leadership teams to promote organizational effectiveness and drive change.
• Demonstrated success in coaching leaders and enhancing management capabilities.
• Experience in leading organizational design, workforce planning, and succession management initiatives.
• Background in supporting a highly distributed, remote-first workforce and fostering a sense of connection and culture across various locations.
• Familiarity with operating in an international organization and navigating diverse employment models, cultural contexts, and work styles.
• Experience in implementing and optimizing HRIS, workforce analytics, and HR technology solutions.
• Preferred: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or an equivalent certification.
• Preferred: Experience in leading People & Culture within a mission-driven, nonprofit, or similarly complex organization.
• Preferred: Background in the global fashion, apparel, and textile industry.
• Preferred: Experience guiding an organization through significant change, evolution, or transformation.
• Strong business and organizational acumen with the capability to align people strategies with organizational priorities, resources, and operational realities.

• Required travel of 10–15%.
