This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create systems focused on engagement, culture, communication, retention, succession, and manager development in a remote-first environment.
• Lead a small HR Operations team alongside strategic HR Business Partners.
• Develop connection, belonging, teamwork, and engagement systems tailored for a distributed workforce.
• Construct strategic communications for employees and leaders that cater to all geographies and time zones.
• Design onboarding processes, team rituals, recognition initiatives, belonging programs, and in-person events.
• Set up remote-working practices that ensure consistent expectations and development across various locations.
• Analyze retention risks and create succession plans for critical roles.
• Enhance manager capabilities, internal mobility, cross-functional development, and learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with the AI Transformation Leader on work design, job architecture, and team structures.
• Develop the engagement program, remote-work model, communication strategy, retention framework, succession plans, manager development strategy, and in-person events during the first year.
• Take ownership of, maintain, and evolve the current HR operational framework as the company expands internationally.
• Engage in interviews by showcasing past work, discussing challenges and AI applications, and interacting with HRBPs and HR Operations.
• Experience managing teams outside the United States, including familiarity with EOR or owned entities.
• Successfully scaled a company in the range of 500-1000 employees, with international expansion.
• Developed frameworks, sessions, and programs hands-on while mentoring the team.
• Utilizes AI agents as part of daily operations.
• Proven experience in leading a team while remaining closely involved in the work.
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive work environment in a distributed company across various geographies, time zones, and cultures.
• Comfortable navigating a public company setting, including compensation committee timing, disclosure periods, and audit cycles.
• Preferred background in mid-sized technology companies, serving as a guideline rather than a strict requirement.
• Ready to transition to a first-time VP role or a second-time VP eager to build rather than merely manage.
• Excellent communication skills with a tendency to over-communicate.
