This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Act as the main People Business Partner Lead for designated functions throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Collaborate with People & Culture and functional leaders to develop talent strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Provide advice and coaching to leaders across various levels of leadership and expertise.
• Establish trusted relationships and influence leadership decisions to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Work together with Recruiting to address current and future talent requirements, specialized skills, budget considerations, pay equity, geographic needs, and succession planning.
• Conduct internal assessments and external reviews to pinpoint talent gaps and propose solutions.
• Utilize data and insights to create business cases for talent strategies and practices.
• Shape organizational design, define job roles, and improve talent processes.
• Facilitate performance evaluations, talent calibration, succession planning, and developmental discussions.
• Ensure completion of development actions and readiness plans.
• Execute talent management initiatives and manage special projects.
• Distribute training resources on workplace accommodations and performance management.
• Offer coaching, performance management, and growth opportunities to direct reports in Employee Relations and HR Administration.
• Lead and assist in employee relations issues and investigations alongside Business Partners, Legal, and Compliance.
• Provide practical guidance on complex employee issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support HR initiatives such as harassment training and maintain documentation for investigations.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding logistics and assist with exit interviews.
• Ensure the accuracy of employee records in HR systems.
• Design, review, and revise HR policies and procedures in collaboration with legal, compliance, and HR teams.
• Interpret and apply HR policies consistently with managers and employees.
• Advocate for client group needs during the design and implementation of enterprise-wide HR programs.
• Lead change management for talent-related initiatives and advise leaders on employee impacts and risk mitigation.
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in leadership positions, with a significant focus on Human Resources roles related to Talent Management.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR business partner experience with extensive expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution.
• Experience in human resources or operations within the non-profit sector, particularly in peer-to-peer fundraising, is preferred.
• HR certification (e.g., CHRL, SHRP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, remote, in-person, one-on-one, group, formal, and informal settings.
• Exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and career stages.
• Strong collaboration skills within remote and hybrid teams.
• Facilitation skills to engage, inspire, and effectively communicate concepts and expectations.
• Experience in creating best practices utilizing automation and AI.
• Solid working knowledge and experience using Workday HCM for HR business processes and workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, including the development and mentoring of others in a remote-first environment.
