VP of Tech Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the global strategy for expanding Tether’s technology ecosystem.

• Set priorities for both existing and future technology sectors.

• Recognize high-potential markets, industries, partners, and applications.

• Cultivate relationships with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, government officials, and other key stakeholders.

• Initiate, structure, negotiate, and finalize significant partnerships and deployments.

• Position Tether as a reliable long-term partner in technology and infrastructure.

• Leverage Tether’s capabilities to create customized and integrated solutions.

• Convert market and partner needs into actionable opportunities for product and engineering teams.

• Coordinate both internal stakeholders and external implementation partners from concept through deployment and scaling.

• Ensure that major projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet measurable goals.

• Monitor solution performance, identify potential risks, and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Lead senior professionals and teams focused on advancing Tether’s technologies.

• Establish priorities, KPIs, accountability measures, and monitoring frameworks.

• Build a high-performing global Technology Expansion organization.

• Collaborate with regional Expansion, product, engineering, legal, and regulatory teams.

• Create repeatable commercial and execution playbooks across different technologies and markets.

• Escalate issues to the Chief Expansion Officer with context and recommended solutions.

• Represent Tether in strategic interactions with enterprises, institutions, governments, regulators, and industry leaders.

• Serve as a senior ambassador for Tether’s technology vision at global conferences, industry forums, and executive meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise technology, AI, digital infrastructure, fintech and digital assets, telecommunications, or technology business development, including senior leadership roles.

• Strong grasp of emerging technologies, decentralized infrastructure, and digital platforms.

• Demonstrated success in originating, structuring, and closing significant enterprise or government technology partnerships.

• Ability to engage with C-suite executives, government leaders, and other senior decision-makers with credibility.

• Experience in developing global go-to-market strategies across various technologies and markets.

• Strong leadership background, including managing senior professionals and international teams.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capability to coordinate commercial, product, engineering, legal, regulatory, and implementation teams.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced environments effectively.

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related discipline.

• Experience working across diverse regions and cultures.

• Established global network among major enterprises, technology companies, financial institutions, and governments.

• Excellent proficiency in English communication.

• MBA is preferred.

• Professional proficiency in three or more languages is advantageous.
