This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Manage a portfolio of potential health plan clients while fostering consultative relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, senior management, clinical teams, product management, and innovation teams.
β’ Oversee the complete sales process from initial discovery through to contract signing for both regional and national health plan opportunities.
β’ Provide clients with guidance on utilizing products and services to enhance clinical outcomes, member experiences, and achieve total cost-of-care savings.
β’ Collaborate with Product, Implementation, Clinical, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding, integration, and ongoing client satisfaction.
β’ Keep track of healthcare policy, payer trends, and competitor activities, offering strategic insights internally.
β’ Assist in contract negotiations and responses to RFPs.
β’ Ensure compliance with regulations set by CMS, Medicaid, and ACA Exchange plans.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ 3β6 years of experience in business development within the health plan, payer, or managed care sectors.
β’ Proven success in achieving growth targets.
β’ Strong knowledge of health insurance models, including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Exchange.
β’ Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities across clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, mission-driven environment.
β’ Proactive, organized, and metrics-focused, with a strong grasp of CRM best practices (e.g., Salesforce).
β’ Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
β’ Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
β’ Experience with digital health, population health, or value-based care solutions.
β’ Familiarity with provider networks, member engagement initiatives, or care navigation platforms.
β’ A history of selling products to health plans utilized in both fully-insured and ASO populations.
β’ Strong connections with key regional health plans.
β’ Established relationships with national health plans.
