VP of Tech Expansion

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a global strategy for the expansion of Tether’s technology ecosystem.

• Set priorities for both current and future technology sectors.

• Identify promising markets, industries, partners, and relevant use cases.

• Foster relationships with CEOs, CTOs, CIOs, government officials, and other senior stakeholders.

• Originate, design, negotiate, and finalize significant partnerships and deployments.

• Establish Tether as a reliable long-term technology and infrastructure partner.

• Create customized and integrated solutions by leveraging Tether’s capabilities.

• Convert market and partner needs into actionable opportunities for product and engineering teams.

• Coordinate efforts between internal stakeholders and external implementation partners from conception through deployment and scaling.

• Ensure that major projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet measurable objectives.

• Monitor the performance of solutions, identify potential risks, and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Lead senior professionals and teams focused on the growth of Tether’s technologies.

• Establish priorities, KPIs, accountability, and monitoring systems.

• Build a high-performing global Tech Expansion organization.

• Collaborate with regional Expansion, product, engineering, legal, and regulatory teams.

• Create repeatable commercial and execution playbooks across various technologies and markets.

• Escalate issues to the Chief Expansion Officer with relevant context and suggested options.

• Represent Tether in strategic engagements with companies, institutions, governments, regulators, and industry leaders.

• Serve as a senior ambassador for Tether’s technology vision at worldwide conferences and industry forums.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in enterprise technology, AI, digital infrastructure, fintech and digital assets, telecommunications, or technology business development, including senior leadership roles.

• Strong knowledge of emerging technologies, decentralized infrastructure, and digital platforms.

• Demonstrated experience in originating, structuring, and finalizing major enterprise or government technology partnerships.

• Capability to engage effectively with C-suite executives, government leaders, and other senior decision-makers.

• Experience in developing global go-to-market strategies across various technologies and markets.

• Significant leadership experience, including managing senior professionals and international teams.

• Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to coordinate efforts among commercial, product, engineering, legal, regulatory, and implementation teams.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or a related field; MBA preferred.

• Experience working across diverse regions and cultures.

• A well-established global network within major enterprises, technology firms, financial institutions, and governments.

• Proficiency in three or more languages is a plus.
