This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead Roo's initiatives to develop a high-performing sales organization and foster a robust sales culture.
• Report directly to the CEO and act as a vital member of the management team.
• Drive growth across both sides of the marketplace by engaging new hospitals and veterinary providers.
• Increase marketplace volume through enhanced provider engagement with Account Management programs.
• Own the comprehensive revenue strategy aligned with company objectives and unit economics.
• Design revenue coverage, territory, and segment models, including roles, handoffs, specialization, and capacity planning.
• Allocate headcount and budget based on ROI and constraints while ensuring a healthy cost of sales.
• Establish an operating cadence to ensure forecast accuracy and quota achievement.
• Scale repeatable go-to-market playbooks across various segments.
• Develop enablement programs encompassing messaging, objection handling, discovery, onboarding, and coaching.
• Implement quality assurance loops including call scoring, pipeline hygiene, and deal reviews.
• Cultivate a scalable leadership pipeline and organizational design; set hiring rubrics, performance standards, coaching, and accountability measures.
• Manage organizational capacity planning, go-to-market systems architecture, and automation.
• Align Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data teams around revenue priorities and shared metrics.
• Lead significant organizational, process, and compensation transformations while maintaining high performance.
• Demonstrated experience in marketplace sales or B2B SMB and mid-market services with a quota-carrying role.
• Strong communication skills with a board-ready narrative discipline.
• High integrity, with clear explanations for any variances.
• Proven ability to develop strong teams, recruit top talent, promote fairly and swiftly, and foster a coaching culture.
• A history of accurate forecasting, measured sales activities, clean pipelines, and systematic methodologies.
• Comfortable linking decisions to metrics and unit economics while maintaining a focus on growth.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data teams.
• Ability to navigate trade-offs, build trust, and drive alignment around shared metrics.
