VP of Product & Engineering – Back of House

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Lead the product and engineering strategy for Back of House in a comprehensive manner across a multi-service architecture.

• Manage globally distributed engineering teams operating in various time zones.

• Establish a management team and nurture senior individual contributors.

• Enhance reliability, performance, and address technical debt while ensuring timely customer delivery.

• Determine the integration of AI within the Back of House product.

• Implement AI-driven enhancements that transform the operational dynamics of hotel teams.

• Report to senior leadership while collaborating with teams distributed globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven combined Product and Engineering leadership at the VP level, demonstrating clear end-to-end responsibility for a complex, multi-service product domain.

• A successful history of managing globally distributed engineering teams across multiple time zones.

• Experience within a scaling SaaS environment, ideally from Series C through pre-IPO or recently public, functioning as an operator rather than an advisor.

• Background in managing managers, developing senior individual contributors, and fostering healthy team cultures at scale.

• A proven track record of enhancing reliability, performance, and addressing technical debt without interrupting delivery.

• AI Fluency Level 4 or equivalent practical experience.

• Must have successfully integrated AI as a core component of a product, rather than solely using AI to improve personal efficiency.

• Experience in hospitality technology, travel technology, or as a founder/early-stage builder is a plus.
