VP of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the future product strategy for Autura's complete product lineup

• Determine which products and features to consolidate, invest in, or discontinue

• Transform a fragmented multi-product interface into a unified platform

• Oversee product direction, discovery, prioritization, and the reasoning behind product decisions

• Collaborate with engineering leadership on product and delivery compromises

• Develop and lead an AI-driven product function encompassing product, design, UX, and frontend

• Recruit, develop, and mentor the product team

• Implement a modern operating model centered on customer engagement, data-driven prioritization, specifications, prototypes, and continuous deployment

• Utilize AI for swift prototyping, API specifications with mock data, and agentic tooling

• Propel growth initiatives in embedded payments, fintech, and marketplace monetization

• Report directly to the CEO and collaborate with the CTO and engineering leadership

⛳️ Requirements

• Direct product development experience is essential: personally deliver AI prototypes, functional UI and workflows, agents, and internal tools

• Proven senior product leadership experience

• Ideally, background in transforming a slow, legacy, or multi-product organization into a more agile and focused entity

• Proficient in integrating product with design, UX, and frontend

• Comfortable working within small, AI-accelerated engineering teams

• Excellent product judgment and capability to analyze customer and business data

• Strong instinct for customer needs and close engagement with real end users and sales teams

• Clear and direct communication skills with executives, the board, and team members

• Bonus: experience in vehicle, mobility, logistics, dispatch, or marketplace software

• Bonus: knowledge of payments or embedded finance relevant to monetization

• Remote work within the US; ideally located in Texas or close to a major airport hub

• Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers and team hubs
