Principal Product Manager

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a multi-year strategy to enhance the Tax & Accounting content organization utilizing AI and automation.

• Recognize and prioritize opportunities in content acquisition, interpretation, creation, validation, maintenance, and product integration workflows.

• Create success metrics and business cases that illustrate operational and customer impacts.

• Collaborate with Product Content leaders, tax analysts, and domain specialists to pinpoint workflow challenges and transformation opportunities.

• Design future workflows that integrate AI capabilities with human expertise.

• Assist in evolving roles towards prompt development, exception management, quality assessment, and expert decision-making.

• Partner with Engineering, Data Science, TR Labs, and business stakeholders to prototype and implement AI-driven capabilities.

• Assess technologies and development options while advocating for necessary investments.

• Design and execute human-in-the-loop processes that balance automation, quality, compliance, and trust.

• Utilize Generative AI, agentic workflows, machine learning, workflow automation, and orchestration platforms to address content challenges.

• Lead cross-functional transformation projects across Product, Content, Operations, Technology, and Compliance.

• Foster stakeholder alignment regarding future processes, tools, and operating models.

• Promote the adoption of new workflows and methods of working.

• Establish metrics to measure efficiency improvements, quality enhancements, cost reductions, and business impacts.

• Optimize and broaden AI-enabled workflows through data and experimentation.

• Keep abreast of trends in AI, automation, knowledge management, and digital transformation.

• Shape Thomson Reuters' approach to applying AI in content-heavy domains.

• Inspire leaders and teams through vision, expertise, and execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading large-scale business, operational, or workflow transformation projects.

• Hands-on experience designing AI-driven workflows, automation solutions, or human-in-the-loop systems.

• Comprehensive understanding of modern AI technologies applied to knowledge-intensive work.

• Ability to comprehend external customer and internal user requirements.

• Experience in testing solutions, analyzing workflows, directly engaging users, and iterating towards successful outcomes.

• Capability to drive consensus across varied stakeholder groups.

• Proficient in communicating with executives, technical teams, domain experts, and operational leaders.

• Over 8 years of experience in Product Management, Business Transformation, Process Transformation, or related leadership roles.

• Background in leading complex AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Demonstrated success in redesigning business processes and operating models through technological innovation.

• Strong grasp of Generative AI, agentic AI, workflow automation, and human-in-the-loop design methodologies.

• Experience in building or delivering AI-enabled products, platforms, or internal tools.

• Ability to analyze complex operational workflows and identify opportunities for automation and optimization.

• Experience in highly regulated, content-heavy, or knowledge-based sectors.

• Experience in tax, accounting, regulatory, compliance, or other professional information is strongly preferred.

• Ability to influence senior leaders and facilitate organizational change in matrixed environments.

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
