VP of Product and Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic direction across JoVE’s entire product organization, encompassing Technology and Product Management teams.

• Develop and implement a cohesive product strategy that combines software and video solutions for STEM Research and Education.

• Establish goals and KPIs, ensuring timely delivery, high performance, operational excellence, and ongoing improvement across all teams.

• Identify and integrate emerging technologies, such as AI, to enhance product offerings, streamline operations, and increase efficiency.

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to convert business insights and market trends into product innovations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 10 years of experience in building and launching successful technology products, with EdTech experience as a plus.

• More than 8 years of management experience, overseeing cross-functional teams at scale.

• In-depth knowledge of product management frameworks and the complete software development lifecycle.

• Proven success in adopting emerging technologies and applying them effectively.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.

• Self-driven, results-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments.
