This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take charge of the comprehensive marketing strategy and roadmap, which encompasses brand positioning, category narrative, campaign planning, and budget allocation.
• Convert company objectives into a prioritized marketing plan while collaborating with the Growth Marketer and the Head of Content and Narrative Strategy.
• Collaborate with the CRO and sales leadership to drive top-of-funnel pipeline generation.
• Manage paid acquisition, ABM, email marketing, conversion optimization, and inbound strategy.
• Develop and oversee the field marketing initiatives, including events, conferences, executive roundtables, and partner-led programs.
• Take ownership of product marketing, competitive positioning, battlecards, sales enablement, and go-to-market launch planning.
• Influence Nightfall’s brand, content, narrative, and category positioning within the AI security sector.
• Manage and continuously enhance the company website, landing pages, CTAs, and conversion pathways.
• Handle external communications, press releases, media relations, thought leadership, agency management, and analyst relations.
• Lead an AI-driven marketing function utilizing AI tools for research, content creation, campaign execution, reporting, and workflow automation.
• Oversee and manage the complete marketing budget, reporting budget performance and ROI to the CEO.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success on revenue objectives, product launches, customer retention, and go-to-market strategies.
• Report directly to the CEO.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing.
• At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role at the VP level or equivalent, fully owning at least one marketing function.
• A proven history of building and scaling a marketing engine in a Series A or Series B company.
• Extensive experience in demand generation and pipeline management with accountability for revenue metrics.
• Strong background in field marketing.
• Experience in owning or supervising product marketing, positioning, sales enablement, and competitive intelligence.
• Hands-on experience in marketing budget management and ROI-driven allocation.
• Experience managing a company website as a marketing and conversion asset.
• Background in PR and analyst relations, including agency management, analyst briefings, and external communications strategy.
• Proficiency with AI tools across the marketing workflow.
• Preferred experience in cybersecurity, data security, AI, or a closely related technical B2B category.
• A builder mentality with the capability to create a category.
• Strong skills in writing, storytelling, agency briefing, and board presentations.
• Experience in managing and developing a small, high-performing marketing team.
