This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Take ownership of comprehensive customer service and order operations for both retail and distributor partners.
β’ Develop and enhance customer service processes and systems.
β’ Manage the strategy for finished goods inventory, focusing on targets, safety stock, aging, and write-off management.
β’ Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, and finance teams to ensure alignment on inventory health and cash flow.
β’ Oversee the entire cold-chain logistics network, which includes warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
β’ Assess and improve network design, distribution center footprint, carrier selection, and routing.
β’ Cultivate relationships with 3PL and transportation service providers.
β’ Assist in strategic initiatives for network expansion and scaling efforts aimed at achieving $1B+.
β’ Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, coordinating demand, supply, and financial aspects.
β’ Establish operational rhythms, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting mechanisms for service levels, inventory health, and network performance.
β’ Build, lead, and mentor a team specializing in customer service, inventory planning, logistics/transportation, and S&OP.
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and the executive leadership team.
β’ Represent logistics and supply chain operations within the extended leadership team.
β’ 12-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain, logistics, and operations within the food & beverage manufacturing sector, including senior roles overseeing multiple functions.
β’ Demonstrated experience managing S&OP, customer service/order operations, and finished goods inventory management, preferably in a cold chain or perishable/dairy setting.
β’ Proven track record in building and scaling logistics networks, including warehousing, transportation, and third-party logistics (3PL), in a high-growth environment.
β’ Evidence of successful network optimization and cost-to-serve improvements.
β’ Experience in managing managers and cultivating, developing, and retaining a multi-functional leadership team.
β’ Strong executive presence and ability to influence across functions.
β’ Comfortable collaborating with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and the executive leadership team.
β’ Excellent analytical and financial skills.
β’ Proficient in managing budgets, KPIs, and P&L-adjacent metrics for the function.
β’ Experience scaling systems, processes, and teams during periods of rapid growth, ideally in a private equity-backed or similarly fast-paced environment.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
β’ Willingness to travel 25-40% of the time.
