This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel organizational growth, enhance strategic partnerships, and boost the adoption of the Centering model among healthcare organizations nationwide.
• Manage business development, philanthropy, and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and report to the Chief Development Officer.
• Develop and implement sales strategies that meet or surpass quotas and annual revenue goals.
• Inspire, lead, and nurture National Directors, Managers, and Associates across various territories.
• Oversee major gifts, engage with donors, and maintain relationships.
• Meet with clients and prospects to gauge business needs and position CHI solutions effectively.
• Foster long-lasting relationships with national partners.
• Work in conjunction with internal support departments to enhance sales and optimize scale and sustainability.
• Organize and carry out meetings for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent CHI and Centering at conferences and professional association gatherings.
• Manage sales activity records, performance reports, client and prospect databases, forecasts, and trend analyses.
• Act as a clinical and business ambassador for the Centering model.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with healthcare executives, clinical leaders, payers, funders, and community partners.
• Evaluate potential partners’ workflows, staffing models, patient demographics, readiness, and operational requirements.
• Lead intricate consultative sales processes aligned with quality improvement, maternal and child health, value-based care, and community health objectives.
• Collaborate with implementation and clinical teams throughout the contract execution and implementation phases.
• Analyze shifts in the healthcare industry, payer priorities, policy developments, and emerging care delivery challenges.
• Convert market insights, client needs, and gap analyses into targeted segments and partnership opportunities.
• Identify gaps in healthcare access, maternal health, health equity, workforce issues, and value-based care where CHI can provide assistance.
• Directly supervise the Business Development Associate, Senior Director of Business Development, Health Policy Manager, and Senior FQHC Partnership Manager.
• 7–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare business development, strategic partnerships, healthcare consulting, health policy, provider relations, population health, clinical operations, or multimillion-dollar revenue-generating roles.
• Proven success in selling or developing partnerships with hospitals, health systems, FQHCs, health centers, academic medical centers, payers, government agencies, or healthcare organizations.
• Familiarity with complex healthcare purchasing and contracting processes.
• Established history of building and managing revenue pipelines and finalizing strategic partnerships.
• Executive leadership experience with direct reports.
• Strong skills in sales and relationship development.
• Experience in maternal health, public health, women’s health, population health, community health, or healthcare delivery transformation environments is highly desirable.
• Clinical background or substantial experience within healthcare delivery settings is strongly preferred.
• Experience collaborating with hospitals, health systems, FQHCs, community health centers, payers, or other healthcare organizations is highly sought after.
• Preferably holds a clinical degree or licensure (RN, CNM, NP, PA, MD/DO, MPH with significant clinical healthcare experience, or related healthcare credential).
• Experience working directly in hospitals, health systems, physician practices, community health centers, FQHCs, or other healthcare delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, quality improvement, population health, reimbursement, and value-based care models.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both clinical and executive audiences.
• Demonstrated success in translating clinical outcomes into business cases and return-on-investment discussions.
• Capability to develop and implement growth strategies that drive organizational impact, revenue, and market expansion.
• Strong skills in business development, consultative sales, and building strategic partnerships.
• Ability to establish credibility and influence with healthcare executives, clinical leaders, payers, funders, and community partners.
• Comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery systems, clinical operations, healthcare transformation, and healthcare purchasing processes.
• Financial acumen, including business cases, return on investment, and healthcare reimbursement models.
• Exceptional skills in relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation abilities, including experience with executive- and board-level presentations.
• Strong strategic planning, execution, and performance management skills utilizing metrics and KPIs.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build consensus among diverse groups.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
