Senior Sales Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee sales initiatives for the Andean region to meet profit targets and surpass sales goals.

• Enhance sales performance across 9 countries in the Andean region by assessing markets, uncovering growth prospects, identifying segments, analyzing trends, and recognizing gaps and timelines.

• Create and implement account business strategies that encompass customer approaches, needs, sales projections, satisfaction metrics, and natural colors conversion.

• Manage distribution partners through effective engagement, training, implementation, and accountability.

• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Purchasing, QC/QA, and Finance teams at the Mexican headquarters to ensure exceptional service for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical clients and prospects.

• Expand and oversee a pipeline of natural colors projects, ensuring successful follow-through to completion.

• Report directly to the Sales Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in B2B technical sales, preferably with a background in managing distributors across multiple countries.

• A strategic mindset for developing and securing business opportunities.

• Proven experience selling technical, value-added solutions to a professional clientele, ideally in the ingredients sector for food, chemical, or pharmaceutical industries.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel 60-70% within the assigned territory.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• Exceptional organizational, project management, customer service, and communication skills.

• Energetic individual with a strong drive and enthusiasm to succeed.
